Why would I be a bitter cynic? I made $20K on GOOG in '05 and $75K on AAPL in '05. I could have made a lot more if I held them but I'm not greedy like you are and I won't watch all the gains disappear right before my eyes.

So get off your high horse thinking you're the greatest investor of all-time with your 100 shares of GOOG. Only a fool would watch GOOG fall from $475 to $345 holding the stock the entire time irregardless where you bought it.

Not to mention the $10K I made shorting GOOG just the other week when it fell from $398 to $358.

Re: GOOG is the backbone of the new growers and lots of new companies will emerge around this universe.

Really? Markets are up today over 1% and yet GOOG is down!

Congrats to all who made money on GOOG, but do you honestly believe this tree will grow to the sky? Put down the KoolAid.
