What was that old ad, Paine Webber or something?

MSFT and YHOO partnering on this, which I fully expect, is going to be like another "PINK". Do you remember PINK? IT was an operating system that a ***consortium*** <ggg> of IBM,DEC and others formed to battle windows when it first took off.

Consortiums don't work, and a partnership for yahoo and msft will be interesting since both of these will assume they are "in charge".

Yahoo blew a chance to be a premier technology company and turned into the next CBS instead.

That is simply not true. The speculation is wrong. MSN Adcenter is supposed to go into exactly this area. Adcenter is from msft. I don't know about Yahoo.
