I will answer for LL. Maybe shooting ducks is less an offense than being responsible for the death of an intern. Cheney is a shmuck for trying to cover this up. But there is no doubt that Kennedy would have gone to jail if his name was Party Time.

Why didn't Cheney ask the secret service to immediately contact the local police so a report of the incident could be made? The local gendarmes were contacted within the hour and arrangements made for the deputies to interview Cheney the very next morning. I am sure the first priority was Mr. Whittington's health. J.

Why can't you dicuss the Cheney incident without bringing up Kennedy? Because you started this thread out of spite to get as much mileage from this as possible and we intend to shove the past misbehavior of your icons straight down your throat? Your hands are NOT clean, honey. Oh, noboby died at Cheneygate, but a woman did die at Chappaquiddick. Why not answer this question: Why didn't Cheney ask the secret service to immediately contact the local police so a report of the incident could be made? Read michael's and JLA's reply. And did you know it is routine practice in ERs to report gunshot wounds? The cops knew pretty quickly. Maybe Mr. Chney wanted to see that his friend got treatment quickly. They were friends, you know.
