I agree with Tonto's response concerning hunting...you've developed a fantasy which bears no relation to anything but your imagination. But strangest of all is the notion that denouncing violence begets violence, coming from you. Perhaps there is no way into your thoughts that will correct this upside-down thinking. Here we have violent people being violent over cartoons that depict their prophet as violent(and by extension them, obviously correctly), and you are worried that noting the truth and denouncing their violence in this instance will beget more violence. Worse, you'd blame the voilence denouncer for the violence. Have you no concept of the myriad of things that make these people - who believe in a violent interpretation of the Koran - voilent? Among them likely, might be a simple vision of an American couple sitting in their hot tub in skimpy Western bathing suits, with a neighbor couple similarly scantilly clad. Why, these folks believe we all need to be murdered for damn near everything we do. But you are afraid of denouncing their violence over cartoons. Isn't that special...now if only you were the President, all nice and sensitive and just so...perhaps there would be no more violence over cartoons. Gee, what a coup (not that any of the brainwashed nuts wouldn't kill you in a moment's notice given the chance). Dan B.
