The incident is not totally unrelated to governance. First, it shows the Administrations tendancy towards secrecy. Second, it shows a certain lack of judgment on Cheney's part.

It's just Cheney's light-hearted way of telling the press corps what he thinks of the treatment he's been getting for six years. Kind of a 'GFY' by omission...

I don't think they are stupid; I think they are pursuing an agenda. I don't know why they hold to that agenda, because THAT is stupid.
