Yes, after a lot of talking and waiting the lady who owns the ranch downplayed the incident as "broken skin," "we've all been pelted by pellets" and "30 yards."

She also said, however, that the shot dropped him and "knocked him silly." It now turns out that the shot may have penetrated to the heart.

Does that sound like a 30 yard, "break the skin," shot?

I'd like to know if the pellet pattern on Whittington was 3-4 feet in diameter or 1-2 feet in diameter. Ed
