I read a news story a couple of years ago about a guy that tee-off on the head of a Canada goose (not Canadian) that was bothering him on the tee. Costs the guy a couple of nights in jail. And yes, there are problems all over the U.S. of the kind you mention. Not to mention, the devastation of the Canadian tundra done by the population explosion of the Snow Goose. That's so bad that in the central flyway they now allow (and have for the last few years) electronic calling and very large limits in an attempt to help control the population through hunting.
