Terrorism was the first specific subject discussed in the 2004 Democratic party platform.

How exactly is that avoiding the subject?

Because if many of the leading Democrats explained what they really want to do - go back to the failed policies of treating terrorism as a criminal matter...

Please explain how treating terror as a criminal matter has failed.

Has treating other crimes as criminal matters failed? Or is it simply a process without end?

Contrast this approach with that of invading an unrelated Muslim nation. Will this bring an end to terror?

Which approach has caused more harm?

Which is more likely to ameliorate the problem?
