With the 10 ga. magnum and lead BBs it wasn't good to let them get too close. I popped one at 20 yards and the shot went in the breast and came out the back.

I've use #8 skeet shooting during warm weather but dropped back to 7 1/2 during cooler weather. #8 wouldn't break the harder targets when it was colder.
