About as much meat as an elk's hind leg, maybe! They're long and skinny and have a lot of bill. Even with all their aerial acrobatics, you still get more fight out of a largemouth bass!

<<Wow! A fish that big must have as much meat or more than an elk!>>

A 9' striped marlin will produce about 100 pounds of meat. Back when I caught mine they kept it, went to feed the Mexicans, I thought it went for the mount. The mount came out of Florida and was all fiberglass. If I had known like all do now I would have released the fish. Easy to get fucked in Mexico back then.
