Agreed, I was telling about something that happened back in 1955. " but likely the goose will sail for quite a way (out of your sight) before coming down, and then die suffering in the middle of a pond." Agreed, lost a duck that way back then and that taught me to take my shots at closer range. Don't hunt anymore now. Fish for trout and salmon.
