Tax cuts are a huge disaster because Bush dishonestly insisted on the biggest tax cuts going to the richest people, and then he hasn't vetoed a single spending bill while the DElay congress was busy spending like there's no tomorrow.
Bush has mounted more deficits in 5 years than all other presidents combined, and even adjusted for inflation is a far bigger spender than LBJ who invented The Great Society and escalated the Vietnam War.

Then Bush-Cheney started their costly war. Which could end up costing us two trillion. All deficit spending. Plus he let his cronies jack up health and energy prices. More and more deficits. The deficits we have now are going to cripple our economy very soon.

Any fool can sweeten an economy with tax cuts, but Clinton';s economy was much sweeter for everyone and it was all paid for plus surpluses. Congress should stop these incessant tax cuts for the rich. They don't need them, don't all want them and we desperately need that money to pay for the war, Katrina, deficits, health care, etc.

Kerry had the right tax cuts. Give them to the middleclass consumers where they will be spent immediately, then stall any tax cuts for the rich until the war is paid for. That was a responsible plan which still sweetened the economy, but Bush-Cheney thought only of their fat cat friends. Plus they're far bigger spenders than any democrat has ever been.
