Mr. Parson.....

(1) Something which is depreciating is NOT an asset. (I'm thinking cars and appliances here.) However.............

(2) Selling a stock when it drops can cause a severe whipsaw injury to one's neck (I'm a veteran of the stock whipsaw phenomenon and still nursing wounds which are several years old). Selling real estate too soon can also cause whipsaw (and I'm a veteran when it comes to serving clients who sold too soon).

Real estate is not a short-term buy decision. If you want to own real estate short-term, invest in a neck brace and a heating pad. <<gg>>

And I know you're smarter than to do that.
