I figured that but to be fair to all, we also need to acknowledge the truth. It is a tragedy which he did not do intentionally. As I said he could have been the victim instead. But then, as you said, Cheney is a "in your face" type of guy and hence deserves no sympathy or even a token defence when people are speculating that he was drunk.
