I suppose they would have liked to. This must be the reason for the ICU. They probably saw it...the entry wound...and the location...and said shit...lets get this guy to the ICU. If it was that close to the heart then they must have know the seriousness of it and the difficulty of doing anything about it in the middle of bum freak texas. Hence the whole delay thing. No not the Delay thing. Bush doesn't know Delay or Abramoff very well.
