Yes, Armstrong clearly lied. Don't be a sucker for Cheney's coverups. Armstrong is a Halliburton board member who hired cheney as CEO and has a motive to lie. She is very rich and owns the county but she can't kill the truth. Armstrong lied about these things: - It was the victim's fault (he was behind Cheney, the proper place to be) - Cheney only cared about the victim (they drove him to a farther away hospital than the best nearest one to avoid public scrutiny, maybe to cover up negligent homicide) - They were in the brush and two groups parted (they were just off the road and drove there in a car) - Cheney heard a bird (Cheney heard something, turned around anbd fired without looking) - Cheney is an expert shooter (apparently not) - They were hunting in the wilds (they were just off the road in a covey where caged birds had been released for Cheney to blast away at) - The victim snuck up behind Cheney (he was wearing a bright orange vest and was standing behind Cheney) - He was 30 yards away (experts say the shot spread shows the victim was much closer, about 15 yards away) - He was just mildly "peppered" (he may die and was badly shot) - He is doing fine now (he may die) and a lot more In fact everything she said was a total whitewashing. And she was speaking for Cheney who was too afraid to say anything himself. Cheney shot a guy in the face at 15 yards then toom him to a small hospital farther away than the nearest large one with better facilities. He avoided the Sheriff and fled the state ASAP. He has avoided the press ever since and not said a word. His people have told nothing but lies about this from the beginning. Earlier this week Libby fingered cheney as the Plame outer and a top ex-Cia agent said Cheney deliberately misled the public on WMD and Al Qaida/Saddam intel. Cheney is also part of the massive energy gouging. Time for Cheney to resign. And be put on trial for treason.
