Hey Jim,
Without knowing your tastes it's hard to suggest something.
A Pacific coaster or Altlantic/Caribbean coaster for example. Pamama has both. Nicauragua is an up and comer. Parts of Mexico are real nice. A few palces left in Belize, barely. Costa Rica was great 20 years ago. Now it's closer to US prices. In Latin America you need to know the lingo.

If you have no ties to the US, AUS/NZ is very appealing.
Just subract 30-40 years of the US timetable.

I thought French Polynesia was the most gorgeous place on earth.

I wouldn't give Hawaii the time of day. Maybe Kawaii.
Ireland is a place I'd look at. Also the northern lakes of Italy.

In the US I like the Canyonlands area and N.W.Montana. Western Carolina and East Tennessee.

If Cuba opens up...I'd check it out.
