That's a hoot right there. Her family was paid off to decide against an autopsy they'd not originally objected to, almost certainly. The man wasn't appropriately punished at all, plainly. A woman dying while a man swims away and hides and remains silent (when she might well have been saved), is being compared to a quickly reported hunting accident involving a friend being hit. You really think you have common sense showing in your post? LOL In point of fact, there is virtually nothing unanswered about the Cheney incident, unless you are worried that a VP who just accidently shot a friend let his Secret Service guys notify the authorities and the ranch owner speak to the press. It's really not terribly mysterious.
