He had it reported shortly, saw that the victim got help, WAS interviewed by police as he wasn't hard to find the next morning, and the medical authorities claimed the man was doing exactly as well as Cheney's people claimed, until they determined LATER that there was a problem they never would have noticed without the testing they did.
