Ted, Who do you think got CA the strictest emission standards in the country? Every Californian who looked out into the valley and saw a blanket of smog obscuring what should be a bright blue sky. Having a ring of mountains containing the smog doesn't help. The point is that those who own the dirtiest vehicles tend to be the poor and disadvantaged. I dare say that even Hummers pollute less than the junkers. Of course, owners of Hummers are easier political targets, given that they tend to be rich. That includes Ah-nuld. Tenchusatsu
