On the Hunting Accident Report Form it states that "If possible firearms, archery tackle, ammunition/powder or other equipment involved in a hunting accident incident should be taken into the custody of the investigating officer for testing and/or evaluation." Well we know this wasn't possible saturday night since the secret service wouldn't let the officer onto the ranch property but why wasn't the gun confiscated sunday morning after cheney had sobered up? Would "other equipment involved" include the empty beer/whisky bottles or the car they were hunting from? thesmokinggun.com
