My father took boxing lessons when he was a kid. He was quite proud of it. As I was growing, he would gather us around to watch Joe Fraizer, George Foreman, Muhammad Ali, Ken Norton, Larry Holmes etcetera engage in televised matches of pugilism. I cannot tell you how much I grew to dislike Howard Cosell.
