I think many here have been horrified at the torture, the secret prisons, the detentions without evidence.

But the fact is, all these revelations have come and gone with scarcely a ripple, courtesy of a Traditional Media that seems to have no collective memory and that seems incapable of connecting dots.

But now a simple shooting accident has raised everyone's hackles and the sleepy press seems to be smelling blood in the water.

How odd.
