GST, I'm not sure I should even venture into this ring. It's exhausting just to watch so I assume it must be even more so for you, Mishedlo and the few others who have put their hand up from time to time.

I think I can happily grant you most of the points you just made. If I'm not mistaken, what your "opponents" are trying to extract from you is simply a recognition that, all other things being equal, an expansion of the money supply will in general raise the prices of goods and services. Or, to be more accurate, lower the price of money.

Could you see your way to agreeing to that rather modest claim?
