The world is losing frogs at an increasingly rapid rate. There's a fungus attacking many species now, including some in the US:
nationalgeographic.com

Even for folks who don't care much about frogs, one thought, they eat a LOT of insects.
Looks like those cane toads are a mess in Australia though. Reminds me of the geniuses in the US Dept of Agriculture who encouraged the planting of Kudzu in the southern US.
