Sheep herders, not cowboys. Most cowboys look upon sheep herders as something below human. Sheep herders tend to know their sheep in a biblical sense, thus the saying, Wyoming where men are men and sheep are afraid. The sheep in this movie were thrilled that these 2 bozo's found each other and were thus leaving them, the sheep, alone. I say this with tongue in cheek and have many, many fond memories of WY and the people there:)
