Sure that's true enough, but the point on the $RUT is that it has wayyyyyy more to go if this is a hound, and no resistance. The SPX may continue to lag it but not likely go inverse to it. I think its a better clue than you think.

I love the RTH as well, nice abc off the Nov high (with a c wedge) and looks like a lock to at least test its August high. On a related note HD looks like a lock to test that $44 double top.

There are no true locks of course.

... RUT is strong. But I'm not sure how good a guide it is for SPX.

Probably an obvious question but...why not just use RUT strength as a guide for RUT?
