It's also out now that cheney refused to go in the ambulance with the guy he shot. He ordered the secret service to take him back to the ranch house where the secret service could keep others from seeing him. Cheney says he didn't go in the ambulance because he wasn't needed there but if that's the truth why didn't he follow the ambulance or go to the hospital later. I think we know the answer to that. They had to give him time to sober up. They needed to keep anyone from seeing him until that time.
