That brings us back to the Cheney thing. Accidental shootings and near misses are VERY common while hunting. Lots of hunters have given up the sport because of this. Pick up a copy of Georgia Outdoor News during deer season and read about some of the hunting accidents. One that sticks out in my mind was a few years back a man and his wife were approaching the tree line when a buck ran out towards them. By the time he got him in his sights and took the shot, the deer was right between the 2 hunters. He missed the deer and killed his wife of 30 years.
