Right-o. The entire point of terrorism is to create a state of fear in which all kinds of people do all kinds of incredibly stupid things. Throwing some oil onto the fire is exactly what terrorists have in mind. We should stop helping them terrorize us.

Geez Scott.... You're really "slumming" for articles if you have to quote the Guardian.... And not only that, but also an article that presents the dysfunctionally illogical belief that "terrorism should not be elevated to ideology" America's enemies may be ruthless, but are they really trying to destroy its way of life? Are Osama bin Laden and co. truly on the same level as Hitler or Stalin? Isn't it pretty obvious that were Bin Ladin or his underlings able to command the economic and industrial resources that Hitler or Stalin controlled that there is any doubt what kind of war we've have on our hands??
