I read a good article about this and the H1N1/2 or H2N1/2 would be the serious strains to look out for while the H5N1 would be quite unlikely to mutate into a human pandemic transmitting from man to man. The Spanish Flu was a H1N1/2 type virus.

When I have a little more time I will try to dig the source of my info out. Until then, sorry but no link ;)
