(AP) -- Biotech company and drug developer Nuvelo Inc. reported a wider net loss on Monday, due mainly to higher development costs related to clinical trials of its drugs and other expenses. ADVERTISEMENT The company posted a net loss of $20.9 million, 49 cents per share, compared with a loss of $13 million, or 40 cents per share, a year ago.
