I am not one who thought they would be throwing flowers in iraq either although i was taken aback on how well the insurgency went post our military victory. The things i hear coming out of this administration dont lead me to believe that they have learned much. In todays NYT they talk of more help for iran democrats. It seems to me that the student so-called democrats have been neutered in iran much like they have been in china with a little freedom and alot of nationalism. We must get back to REALISM in FP and lose both the neocon and left wing claptrap along with the out of control rhetoric on both sides. Can we agree on the this?
Also if bush were to change in the above direction, he will need the support of folks who have been opposed to him and not knee jerk anti-bush reactions even in the face of good policy (if that comes). Mike
