Many of us avoided vietnam in similar ways and many of those are liberals today. As for the birds if they were using dogs to flush out a bird and they shot the bird and they ate the bird i have no problem with that. As i said i eat burgers. Personally i hated the feeling of killing an animal because i think when i aimed fired and hit the animal it somehow felt good and i felt it shouldnt. But if i had to feed my family i would shoot game. And if i shot game for sport, i would never do it unless i ate the bird or at least made sure the bird wound up at the homeless shelter.
