KM, I don't know John, but he seems to be one of crowd (although more experienced in his speciality than some here), who has opinions he wants to put forward for a multitude of reasons. For me I like to get my sense of "the truth" honed by others who sharpen my point of view. But to think that his sole opinion has the power to make you feel "beneath him" ... it doesn't have to be that way. Insofar as he calling you a liar, maybe you can ask him if that was his intent, and then deal with that straight away, if you think you need/want to spend your time doing so. After all, you did "flush"... Haps.
