Those were great too. But we were faithful viewers of Lassie, Rin Tin Tin was good, but not as good s Lassie. Who could forget Spankie and Our Gang? Maybury RFD? Leave it to Beaver? My Friend Flicka? Hogan's Heros?

Oh yeah! Steve McQueen in Wanted Dead or Alive! That was a neat tricked up gun he used.

Then there was Sugarfoot. And I think there was one called Johnny Ringo. He used a Lemat revolver which had six shots of lead slugs and a shotgun barrel for backup. That came in handy for fooling the bad guys.

The old Saturday matinee serial westerns were fun too. One had a guy with a cane that had a gun in it, which was also good for fooling the bad guys.

And Wagon Train! Bonanza!

Those were the days.

Now the best TV shows are CSI, Law and Order, and the like. Dead bodies. Gruesome. In the old Westerns, shot people didn't even bleed, let alone spill their guts all over the ME's table.
