grab of a Liberal cabinet minister is kinda hard to swallow

On most things political I agree with you...this one is a bit tough. At first glance there was a satisfaction for feeding the liberals one of their own turds....on second glance it felt a bit degrading to act like a lib...if only for a split second.....and there are pros and cons to the Emmerson thing if one looks past the politics...his business history should be a pro in this post.....a con is the way the media lied about the failed deal before the election. You can bet your butt that if there was a chance to end softwood days before an election martin would have sold what was left of his soul.
Conservative folks definitely hold themselves to a higher standard then the left do.....after all Landslide Annie gloated over Bimbos' defection calling it a brave and courageous thing.

It is hard to realise for some of us that the only government some Canadians know is a Liberal Government, so they expect lies, deceit, theft and foolishness. OTOH, Harpers grab of a Liberal cabinet minister is kinda hard to swallow. I am glad about the gun registry however, let's find out how a 2 million dollar program costed out at 2 Billion dollars....

Contract shredding trucks were parked behind the Parliament buildings in Ottawa and Federal government buildings elsewhere for 3 days before the election. The documents needed to investigate where the 2 billion/year on gun registry and the other billion on adscam have all been destroyed. The billions of dollars spent on the gun registry and other Liberal programs that were siphoned off into Liberal pockets are gone and will never be traced.
