I know, Bush was not elected. He cheated to win. And CLinton was wisely against the war in Vietnam. He avoided it as a matter of conviction. Bush and Cheney supported the war but were too cowardly to go anywhere near it. The Guard unit which Bush went AWOl from was specially designed to keep rich kids away from the draft. Cheney used five deferrments to avoid war. Both wre alcoholics at the time which was why Bush was grounded from every flying.
