As I recall, you chose the handle "eleutheria" because it's a figure in one of Samuel Beckett's plays.

That little exchange a couple of days ago with Rambi and Suma reminded me that in the 50s in addition to everyone of any serious import in the world, at least as far as I was concerned ;-), was reading Camus and Sartre, the other things we were doing was going to readings of Waiting for Godot. A huge hit. I recall it was done once at a campus drama theatre, had a run of several weeks, and then every small theatre group around the campus, of any serious pretences, did it.

And the irony, of course, was that nothing happens in it. As its says, no one comes and no one goes.

Just a memory.
