I have a couple of Paladin episodes on tape.

I liked Maverick too, but it wasn't my favorite.

I think there was one called Lawman with John Russell. I never saw it.

Westerns were much more meaningful for me than today's dramas, because I was familiar with the environment as a kid. Saw cattle ranches, explored ghost towns and mines, trapped, hunted, and so forth.

My favorites these days are the crime dramas, but they are not real to me because I have nothing in my background to relate to them. Especially the city environment. I can't imagine why people want to live in big cities. Being unreal to me makes the gruesome subject matter a little more palatable.
