Now do the math: "At 1.7 million square km (656,000 square miles), up to 3 km (nearly two miles) thick and a little smaller than Mexico, the Greenland Ice Sheet would raise global sea level by about 7 meters (22 feet) if it melted completely."

That's 656,000 square miles x 2 miles thick = 1,312,000 cubic miles..if melted completely at 36 cubic miles per year...wow it will only take 36,000 YEARS to be gone and rise the ocean 22 feet. Boy that's scarly. What a joke.
