Bush dodged the draft by getting his father's friends to get him in front of 500 waiting applicnts who were more qualified to get into the Air Guard, a champagne unit for rich kids. Once in the Texas Air Guard, GW was protected from ever going to Vietnam. And he knew it. GW started training but never flew anything solo, then transfered to Alabama, never showed up, went AWOL, disappeared for seven months then came back and once again used his family clout to get off and go to Harvard Business School. Sometime around 1998 Bush's Guard records were cleansed and crucial documents about his 1972 disappearance were destroyed. The rumor is he was arrested for cocaine at the time, which explained why he did community service in Houston, a typical punishment for a rich kid getting off a drug charge which was then espunged from the records. It also explains why he skipped his 1971 mandatory drug test. AWOLBUSH.com had the evidence.
