Deficits matter a lot when the bill arrives. And it could start arriving at any time. This will really trickle down too, a lot of people will lose the homes they're buying for no money down at or near the top of the market. Bushies have made sure the banks get to foreclose more easily (except against rich people who Bushies protect, so the banks could be the place to put your money now.
