Bush dodged the war because his daddy was rich, then split the champagne Guard unit, went AWOL, lied about it, probably got arrested for cocaine, avoided his mandatory drug test, then used daddy again to get him out of the Guard 12 months early go he could go to Harvard Business School and flunk his way through. AWOLBUSH.com Clinton was strongly against the war. In those days, avoiding the draft if you were anti-war was seen as a necessity. The draft was wrong and the war was wrong. m But if you supported the war and draft like Bush and Cheney did, and you still evaded your duty, you were a coward and hypocrite.
