Exactly. Even if we release every single secret of the government to the entire world...so what? Well, ok, we keep the nuclear codes a secret and stuff like that but the rest of it is just CYA IMO.

It's the secrecy that is so dangerous IMO.

He did this because of the Iran Contra affair and the deep involvement of Reagan and junior's dad. I am hoping that in a few years junior's decision to do this will be overturned somehow.

IMO, not only was he shielding daddy, but many of his own administration had roots in that scandal. So he was covering his own ass as well.
