c2, I would love to take what people write/say at face value but I know one cannot do that with Toensing and her husband. And the Bush administration has simply raised the bar for public deception. Pure ad hominem attack not worthy of a response. Come up with some facts to support what you say, I may respond. One must have independent corroboration for what they and their surrogates put out in public. More ad hominem--"they" are bad---yawn..... Congress held by a different party Oh, I see, some sort of legislative affirmative action should be in place to stop the Administration, some sort of ballot nullification, uff.....yawn. ...fourth estate... We must not read the same newspapers...........yawn. Good night, I'm bored.

Editorial in today's paper which I am paraphrasing. It said Cheney had it his way in reporting the incident which invoked such an uproar. AND his way was the way the Bush Administration had chosen to dispense information using Limbaugh,Hannity and Fox News channels which are very friendly.. albeit in the pocket of the administration. However, this is not the only reason . It is also an attempt to make the news coming from other sources questionable. That they are consciously playing into the message that the woman in the gym said to me that CNN was Communist and that if they did not put FOX back on the TV's there she was leaving. The aim is to tarnish the media that does not agree with Bush and his policies to a point that the American public believes just what this woman does. Fox TV,Limbaugh,Hannity,Matthews,OReilly are the spokes persons for what REALLY goes on in this Country. All else is suspect if not subversive... AND I think that the public is buying it.. ONLY THE NEWS that is FIT to Print by Bush and Co.
