>>As for the pink sheet stock companies, misleading the public is part of their job. <<

LOL. I guess you are right. I have never bought any PK stocks, although many OB stocks may worse<g>

CLWT -- Their stock is really not bad (I took a look just now). From $0.5 in mid-2003 till now $3-6. If you can identify 20-30 this kind of stock, buy them and hold, then you could retire at age 50<g>

[A long time ago, I read that the Flash-based memory Patent (including the most popular CompactFlash and SmartMedia memory) belongs to one Chinese company, but never saw anyone ever mentioned about the royalty to the Chinese company. Finally, the law suit is here! And the potential violators also includes the big names like Apple since popular iPod also use flash memory. Netac first picks an no-name small company to sue. Wish Netac best luck!!]--Netac Files Suit Against PNY Technologies

Netac has not disclosed the amount of monetary compensation that it hopes to receive from the lawsuit

PNY Technologies, the company best known for its CompactFlash and SmartMedia memory, is being sued by Netac, a Chinese flash-memory product manufacturer. Netac claims that PNY has violated one of its patents on electronic flash-memory external storage devices, and is now suing to gain compensation for the alleged violations. The Chinese company also wishes that PNY will no longer be able to sell its products to consumers. The suit was filed in the Eastern District Court in Texas on February 10, 2006. Netac has successfully sued several Chinese companies and also has a case pending against Sony.

"We want to get fair competition in the United States, while Netac is expanding its presence in the overseas market," Deng Guoshun, president of Netac, said in the statement.

Netac was founded by Chinese workers who worked and studied outside of China, and is currently one of the leaders in mobile storage and digital devices. Netac has not disclosed the amount of monetary compensation that it hopes to receive from the lawsuit.
