There is no bright idea acceptable to both sides that can stop the feud that exists between the Israelis and the Palestinians. I am hoping that if the Palestinians get statehood, they will be so focused on making their new state work that their focus will shift and there will be less trouble. Not gonna happen unless the world gives them a headstart, unlike in Iraq. I never thought the prognosis was great but I do think the EU and certain Arabs like the Saudis will step up to the plate..........God knows the Arabs owe the Palestinians. ted
