Lots of northeastern Jews, especially young ones, that I know, don't take Israel's side exclusively.


Last nite in class, there was a short discussion regarding the the conflict and one of my friends in the program who happens to be Jewish....he and I talked afterwards. He concurs with yours and my position re. the issue........and he said his Jewish friends feel pretty much the same way.

Having said that, the conflict is like a deeply embedded, long running infection that will not be cured easily. I think if the US can't take a more neutral [read fair] position, then it needs to step away. It maybe should do that anyway.....then the Arabs and Jews won't have someone to run to whenever they can't agree.
