Don: Great to see you posting on SI again...I really enjoy reading your blog (I came across it by accident when I was out on the SearchEngineWatch site and found this interview)...

It's amazing where links on the Internet will take you...;-)

Congrats on helping Brad and Jeff with SI in the early days...Silicon Investor has developed into quite a unique community of bright folks -- I've learned a lot out here over the years (and have met some new friends too).

Are you based in Seattle right now...?

Finally, it seems like the podCasting space has been attracting a lot of new venture dollars (we see firms like Odeo, Podshow, and Podbridge all taking on funding in the last 6-9 months)...How does Microsoft view the world of podCasting right now...?

you are a venture capitalist working for microsoft? That must be interesting.

I'll bet msft is spending all this effort watching google, but really, they could probably set up a hosted apps business and make a dent in salesforce.com, oracle and sap with a lot less effort. I don't think google even wants the hosted app business but the concerted efforts of the mainline apps players in the hosted area are so bad, the customer base is begging for it.
